Hoodoo Scoundrels

You've met The Scoundrels, now meet Hoodoo Scoundrels. They changed their name acting on direct advice from their trusted friend and musical confident Brian Eno, the legendary producer, ambient artist and Roxy Music keyboardist.

After kicking off with their debut EP, this young London four-piece rapidly found themselves as 'Single of the Week' on BBC Radio 2 and constantly selling out their residencies at the Notting Hill Arts Club and Hoodoo Hop at The Troubadour in West London, where Brian Eno began referring to the band and their footloose fans as Hoodoo Scoundrels. Always a man with an ear for sonics and the spoken word, Eno loved the way it rolled off the tongue.

The band's residencies are at two of London's best respected and revered small music venues: Hoodoo Hop at The Troubadour in Earls Court and Sweet Memory Sounds at Notting Hill Arts Club. At these cult events you'll find a fresh faced crowd, some barely old enough to pass the grimacing bouncers.
